Does Minecraft have promo codes?
No — Minecraft has no promo-code system on any platform. What players usually mean is slash commands (/give, /tp, /locate) or item IDs, which our Commands section covers with copy-ready syntax. Gift codes for the game itself redeem at minecraft.net/redeem.
Java or Bedrock — which edition should I play?

What is the latest Minecraft version?
Wilderness Bound — Java 26.3 and Bedrock 26.50, released September 15, 2026. Both editions switched to year-based version numbers in 2026 but version independently, so a Java 26.3 world is not the same content line as Bedrock 26.50.
